Marine Welcome Home: Gets Backyard Makeover
FREDERICKSBURG – Lt Col Christopher "Scott" Bey will return home on Saturday June 2nd after more than six months in Iraq and 18 years of service. Scott is a liaison officer for the Marine Corps System Command located at Quantico. Scott and his wife Adrienne have two children, Levi age 14 and Noah age 12. In March the family started thinking about putting a swimming pool in their backyard. Like many families, the Beys wanted to create a tropical oasis in their own backyard where they could enjoy quality family time; however, their younger son, Noah, has Cystic Fibrosis and requires regular exercise, so the pool is a much needed addition. With the assistance of Tortuga Pools in Spotsylvania, Adrienne was able to transform her backyard prior to her husband’s arrival. Their new backyard sports a new Triton pool and Placid spa from Viking Pools. Although Scott is aware of the pool and spa, he has yet to see the completed transformation, which is sure to be a huge welcome home surprise.
